Glenn Beck Cruise Class Action Filed

Poynter Law Group has filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of purchasers of the failed Glenn Beck Cruise Through History.

Beginning in 2019, Glenn Beck partnered with the now defunct CruiseBuilder to promote the “Glenn Beck Cruise Through History."

The Cruise was billed as a 14-day, family friendly trip through several historic locations where passengers would receive political and religious commentary from influencers such as Glenn Beck, Bill O’Reilly, David Barton, Rabbi Lapin, and others.

The Cruise was scheduled to depart on March 24, 2020, stopping at ports in Italy, Croatia, Israel, and Greece, before returning on April 7, 2020. Defendant Glenn Beck focused on the religious and political nature of the locations and advertised the Cruise as an “opportunity to reinforce your faith, culture and values by experiencing it in the places where it first took root, Jerusalem, Athens, or Venice.”

Thousands purchased tickets for the cruise, but due to the global pandemic in 2020 the cruise was postponed, and eventually, cancelled in February of 2023. While some have been issued credits for other cruises, refunds were never given and most purchasers have lost tens of thousands of dollars due to Glenn Beck's and other's promotions of the Cruise Through History that never was.

The class action lawsuit was filed in the Circuit Court of Benton County, Arkansas. It is currently assigned to the Honorable Judge Doug Schrantz. You may download the lawsuit from the link below.
