Hearing Postponed

Today, a motion to dismiss hearing in the class action suit brought to recover damages for homeowners and business owners who suffered damages from wastewater injection caused earthquakes near Cushing last November was postponed.

Defendant White Star Petroleum moved to dismiss the action at the end of last year, and Plaintiffs filed a brief opposing that motion early this year.

The March 2nd hearing was to address that motion, but recently, Defendant FHA Investments also filed a motion to dismiss. Judge Corley thought it best to hear those motions at the same time, and he rescheduled the hearing for April 7th at 1:30 pm.
